Etihad Holidays boosts trade portal and sets up UK support team
Etihad Holidays has upgraded its trade portal and launched a UK-based support team in response to agent demand. The operator is promoting
the portal by offering agents the chance to win a seven-night Maldives holiday for two. Oman has been added to the
range, which also includes Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Thailand, Sri Lanka, the Seychelles and Maldives. Holidays in Oman start at £939
for a five-night break, based on two sharing at the Hilton Salalah Resort, departing June 26, 2026. Gemma Lazenby, B2B head of

Riviera reveals new itineraries in five long-haul destinations

Escorted-tours specialist Riviera Travel has added itineraries in Sri Lanka, South Africa, India, Morocco and Thailand to its long-haul collection for 2027. A 10% discount is available on tours booked before
November 21. Wild Sri Lanka is a new 16-day itinerary offering the
chance to spot elephants, leopards and sloth bears, as well as to visit Colombo, Kandy and Jaffna. Prices start at £3,149, including flights from
Heathrow on March 2, 2027. Also new is Wild South Africa, a 16-day journey
Maldives
featuring full-day game drives in Addo Elephant and Hluhluwe national parks. The 16-day itinerary leads in at £4,499, departing Heathrow on January 17, 2027. Another addition to the programme is Eastern

Oliver’s Travels acquires villa rental company based in France
Oliver’s Travels has expanded in France with the purchase of villa rental company Lac Montagne. The acquisition adds 20 holiday homes to the villa specialist’s collection in Annecy, bringing its total in the French town to 27. Leeds Bradford and Southampton Regional airline Blue Islands will launch twice-daily flights between Leeds Bradford and Southampton from March 29, 2026, with one-way fares starting at £69.99. Leeds Bradford airport aviation director Declan Maguire said the flights were aimed at business travellers, holidaymakers and people cruising from Southampton.
