August 2024 was the busiest month Manchester Airport has ever seen


with 3.36 million passengers using the UK’s global gateway in the North.


New routes added in 2024 include the likes of Shanghai with Juneyao Air, Las Vegas with Virgin Atlantic and Amman with Royal Jordanian.


20 new shops, bars and restaurants to open in Manchester Airport’s new


Terminal 2 in 2025 as part of our £1.3 billion pound Transformation Programme.


In 2024, 98.4% of our passengers waited for 15 minutes or less to get through security.
