Silversea’s newest ship was due to arrive in Japan on Friday this week ahead of its first season of sailings in the Asia-Pacific region,
operating until April 2025. Silver Nova, the first of the
luxury line’s Nova Class ships, was set to arrive in Kushiro, Japan, on September 27. It will sail two voyages in the
region before operating voyages of 16 to 18 days in Australia and New
Zealand between November 18
and February 24, 2025. Silver Nova is then scheduled to
return to Asia until next April with itineraries spanning Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries in the region. The ship will return to
Asia-Pacific in September 2025 before commencing a 47-day circumnavigation of Australia from Melbourne. Silver Nova will subsequently operate 12 to 15-day Sydney-to-Auckland sailings.

Highlights of onshore
experiences from selected itineraries include a culinary workshop and lunch with a ‘Japanese Master’ on Awaji Island, a workshop on native ingredients with a chef from the Torres Strait Islands in Melbourne, and garden foraging and lunch at Adelaide Botanical Gardens. Prices for Silver Nova’s 14-day
sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong departing on February 24 next year start at £13,500 including
flights, transfers and excursions. Ports of call include Koh Samui and Bangkok in Thailand and three destinations in Vietnam. Silversea president Bert
Hernandez said: “Silver Nova will be the most luxurious ship sailing in Asia-Pacific until she leaves the region in April 2025, with her striking architectural innovations, advanced energy efficiency standards, and unprecedented range of suites and public venues.”
