canada Calling three reasons to…
1 2 1 3 Visit Canada in autumn
1 Admire Canada’s fiery foliage on a hike through golden larches in the Rockies or past red maples in Nova Scotia. For city stays, Vancouver’s Seaside Greenway path combines autumn colours with skyline views, and just outside Toronto, visitors can explore more than 35 wineries around Niagara-on-the-Lake, or head north to the striking landscapes in Muskokas.
2 Discover Canada’s diversity at an autumn festival. In Jasper, the Dark Sky Festival hosts famous speakers against a backdrop of starry skies, while in Quebec, the Mont Sutton Fall Festival celebrates the season with local food, music and guided outdoor activities. For a taste of fresh Canadian cuisine, the Fall Flavours Festival on Prince Edward Island showcases local producers and ingredients, such as cheese, oysters and lobster.

3 See Canada’s local wildlife as many species prepare for hibernation and it’s prime polar bear season in Churchill through October and November. The last of the whales pass through the Bay of Fundy in autumn, when migrating birds can also be spotted from coast to coast. In British Columbia, clients will want to pack a camera to capture the grizzly bears, bighorn sheep and spawning salmon that live in its 34 million acres of protected wilderness.
