AmaWaterways unveils City Escapes range on three rivers

AmaWaterways has launched a City Escapes programme on the Seine, Rhine and Danube rivers to offer passengers more “curated experiences”. The initiative will run in the shoulder seasons


and aims to provide “deeper cultural immersion” in cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Strasbourg and Budapest. On the Seine, passengers will have extended time


and a wider range of activities in Paris, Rouen and Normandy, with excursions including the Louis Vuitton Foundation, château visits and cider tastings. On the Rhine, new activities have been added


in Breisach, Strasbourg, Heidelberg, Cologne and Amsterdam, including excursions to the Alsatian wine region and visits to Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg. On the Danube, sailings through the Wachau Valley


and Danube Bend have been paired with programming in Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Linz and Passau.
