P&O Cruises reveals Caribbean airline partners for winter
P&O Cruises’ airline partners for its 2026-27 Caribbean fly-cruise programme will be Tui Airways, Norse Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic. The direct flights will serve
cruises on Arvia and Britannia from October 2026-March 2027. Norse will operate Saturday
flights to Antigua from Gatwick and Manchester, plus Barbados flights from Gatwick, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow and Newcastle. Tui Airways will provide
Friday and Saturday flights to Barbados from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester, plus services from Belfast, Bournemouth, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow and Newcastle. Virgin Atlantic will charter an
Airbus A330 from Manchester to Barbados every other Friday.

Jet2 expands Gatwick capacity and adds Lesvos link for 2027

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have “significantly” expanded their programmes from Gatwick for summer 2027. The sister brands are offering 35 sun and city
destinations, including a new route to Mytilene on the Greek island of Lesvos. Jet2 will operate weekly Sunday services to the
Aegean island from May 2-October 10 next year. Seven nights’ B&B at the three-star-plus Aphrodite
Hotel in Molivos, Lesvos, starts at £649 with Jet2holidays, based on two adults sharing, including flights on May 16 and transfers. More than 1.1 million seats have gone on sale
for summer 2027 – a rise of 27% on this year, which is the brands’ debut season from the airport. At peak

Loganair has added four direct routes from Jersey: Dublin, Norwich, East Midlands and Paris – with the French capital becoming its first destination in France. The carrier will also increase capacity between Jersey and Bristol, with an additional flight on Tuesdays and Fridays, from May 31, and an extra service on Sundays from June 2.

Wizz Air becomes third airline to offer ‘twilight check-in’ at Luton
Tui has added city breaks to Bilbao, in northern Spain, from Bristol, Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester. Seven nights’ room-only starts at £519, flying from Manchester on April 15 with hand luggage only. Tui Musement offers day trips from the city to the Rioja region from £66.

Wizz Air has become the third airline to offer ‘twilight check-in’ at Luton Airport, enabling passengers to check in and drop off luggage the night before they fly. EasyJet and Jet2 introduced the option last year. The Wizz Air service is available daily from 9pm-2am for passengers departing on flights up to 9am the following day.
