Jet2holidays unveils summer 2024 city breaks programme
Jet2holidays has put its expanded summer 2024 city-break programme on sale earlier than in previous years. It features Athens, Barcelona,
Budapest, Krakow, Prague, Nice, Paris, Pisa, Rome and Venice, with flights from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted airports. A three-night Jet2CityBreaks
holiday at the Lighthouse Athens starts at £669 on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The price includes flights from Manchester on May 2, 2024, and transfers. Jet2holidays has also
unveiled an express transfers service that guarantees customers will be within the first three drop-offs on their transfer from the airport to their hotel. They will also be one of the final three pick-ups on their return transfer to the airport. The service will launch in
the next few weeks and will be included as standard when a customer or agent books one of the 80 hotels initially featuring it.

TTC brands add social-impact experiences to a raft of tours

The Travel Corporation (TTC) tour brands have introduced more Make Travel Matter experiences, which are designed to have a positive social or environmental impact. Clients on the Fig Cake Tasting experience in Bosnia
and Herzegovina meet locals in the ancient city of Stolac to learn about their way of life. The experience was developed with USAID and
Turizam Bosnia to showcase a side of Bosnia that focuses beyond post-war tourism. It is featured on Insight Vacations’ 14-day Eastern Capitals and the Dalmatian Riviera itinerary, which costs from £2,903. Clients on two Contiki tours – Israel & Jordan
Uncovered and Israel Uncovered – can join the Jaffa Home Visit with Coffee & Sweets experience. They will meet Doris, a Christian Arab, and learn about the cultural heritage of Jaffa.

BA to introduce direct Heathrow-Cincinnati service next June
British Airways will start a direct service to Cincinnati from Heathrow on June 5, 2023. The Ohio city will become the 27th US destination
served direct from London by BA, which offers 300 transatlantic flights a week – the most of any UK carrier. The service will be operated by a Boeing 787
Dreamliner five times a week in the summer and four a week in winter. Return fares will start at £499.

Lines’ service to Paris, which resumed in August. BA recently announced that it would be boosting
its service to Portland, Oregon, to daily next summer, and to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to six times a week. The airline will also add an eighth daily flight to
New York’s JFK airport.
