set up travel agency Britaly Travel in 1984 with his son, who now runs the business. The company later launched the trade-only
Typically Holidays tour operation. The tribute introduces the brochure, which features
the Dolomites for the first time and more suggested itineraries to help agents convert a sale. Daniele, who said the 2025 brochure would have
made his dad proud, added: “The brochure is dedicated to my dad; I even wrote a few lines in Italian. “It didn’t feel right to talk about new destinations.
I talked about all the skills my dad taught me, and after I wrote it, I didn’t want to change it, as it came from the heart. “He taught me how to look after customers. He said
if you would not go on holiday with your own family to a hotel, don’t sell it – and that is how we’ve approached it over the years. The sales team knows that.” Broccoli said the new brochure was “bigger and
better than ever before”, covering Italy from “top to toe”. “I have put more in the brochure for agents with
more trade-friendly itineraries,” he added. “So if clients want ideas, agents can find them in the
brochure to help them to sell the holiday.”
