Saga goes full throttle for the Isle of Man TT

Motorbike fans can watch the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy Race on a Saga Cruises sailing from Dover this summer.
The new seven-day all-inclusive
itinerary on Saga Sapphire includes stops in Dublin and Liverpool before calling at Douglas, capital of the Isle of Man, on June 2. Guests can watch the race from
the grandstand or soak up the atmosphere at the Noble Park Fanzone or in Ramsey Town’s Parliament Square. During the Dublin stopover,
there is an excursion to visit the Powerscourt Estate country house in County Wicklow and time to explore the city. In Liverpool, Saga guests can
travel to the National Trust-owned childhood homes of Beatles John Lennon and Paul McCartney, take in Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane, which inspired two of the group’s best-known songs, and visit the Beatles Story exhibition. The itinerary also includes a stop at Portland in Dorset.
Tauck to take to the inland waterways of North America
Tauck is offering a 12-day river cruise on North America’s inland seas in 2019. The eight-night cruise is
bookended by two-night hotel stays in Chicago and Toronto. Ports of call include Mackinac Island, Niagara Falls and Holland town, a Dutch-inspired conurbation with canals, tulips and a windmill.
