Jet2 lays on extra flights to Rome for 2024 Six Nations
Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have added 16 extra flights to Rome in response to the publication of 2024 Six Nations rugby fixtures. Capacity has been increased
from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Stansted and Glasgow. The extra flights are timed for the Italy v England fixture on February 3 and Italy v Scotland on March 9. The move enables the sister

Tourism Australia is offering 44 places for UK agents to attend its G’day Australia 2023 international mega-fam trip and workshop in Cairns on October 9-12. About 300 agents from around the world will join
100 Australian sellers at the gathering, which has evolved from the tourist board’s Corroboree event. To apply for a place, UK agents must have qualified
as an Aussie Specialist by completing Tourism Australia’s online training programme. Attendees will meet Australian sellers in Cairns and join fam trips supported by the destination’s state and territory tourist boards. Phillipa Harrison, Tourism Australia managing

Qatar Airways will resume services from Birmingham airport in July with daily flights to its Doha hub at Hamad International airport. The carrier suspended the route in 2020 due to the pandemic. Qatar Airways will also increase service frequencies from Gatwick and Heathrow, resume services from Doha to 10 other destinations and launch seven new routes worldwide.

Icelandic carrier Play to launch Glasgow-Keflavik service in May Icelandic budget carrier Play will make its debut in Scotland with Glasgow flights to Keflavik starting on May 26, offering onward connections to the US. Return fares from Glasgow start at £160 to Keflavik and £292 to North American destinations. Four flights a week will operate during the summer, reducing to three a week in the autumn.
