MSC opens bookings for upcoming ship MSC World America

Sales have opened for the inaugural season of MSC Cruises’ second World-class vessel,MSC World America. The ship, scheduled to enter


service in April 2025, will sail a mixture of seven and 14-night Caribbean itineraries for its inaugural season. The seven-night Eastern


Caribbean itinerary calls at Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and San Juan in Puerto Rico, while the seven-night Western Caribbean itinerary calls at Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico and Roatan in Honduras. The two 14-night itineraries will


sail both the seven-night itineraries back to back, with one going from east to west, the other west to east. All itineraries will also call


at MSC Cruises’ private island destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, in the Bahamas. Sailings cost from £589. The 22-deck ship will feature


13 restaurants including six speciality restaurants and two

buffets, as well as 20 bars, lounges and cafes, including a comedy club,


sports bar and mixology bar. MSC World America will also


boast six pools, 14 hot tubs, a waterpark that includes a virtual reality experience, kids’ clubs, three entertainment venues and an 11-deck-high dry slide. The LNG-powered ship will


homeport at the cruise line’s new cruise terminal in PortMiami, due to be completed by December. MSC Cruises chief executive
