Tauck reveals details of two vessels to join fleet in 2026
Ella Sagar Tauck has unveiled the names and itineraries of two
ships scheduled to join its fleet in 2026. Serene and Lumière, whose names were selected from
more than a thousand suggestions submitted by agents, passengers and employees, will sail in France on the

Family Fun Along The Seine: Paris to Normandy, costing from £4,640.
Lumière will offer several itineraries, with two
examples being an eight-day Bon Voyage! France Family River Cruise, starting from £4,690, and a 10-day Savouring France: Paris, Lyon & Provence cruise, leading in at £5,540. Prices are per person and include all shore
excursions, gratuities, onboard beverages, transfers,
luggage handling, taxes and fees. Serene will have capacity for 124 passengers and
Lumière 130. Both ships will have a sun deck and wellness area, and 80% of the cabins will be 225sq ft or larger. Each ship will have ‘category 5’ suites with 300sq ft of space, balconies, a seating area and king-sized bed. Serene will have 20 suites and Lumière 22.

Ponant offers three solar eclipse cruises in August 2026
Ponant Explorations will operate three solar eclipse cruises next year in the Mediterranean and off the Icelandic and Irish coasts. The voyages will coincide with
the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, with specialists providing insights on the event including metereologists, science journalists, photographers and astronauts.

Far North will depart from Longyearbyen in Svalbard on Le Lyrial on August 1, 2026, for a 13-night cruise to
Reykjavik, costing from £12,350. Total Solar Eclipse from Iceland
to Ireland will sail from Reykjavik to Dublin on an eight-night voyage on Le Lapérouse on August 10, 2026, with fares from £5,620. Prices are based on double occupancy for a Deluxe stateroom and do not include flights.
