ships scheduled to join its fleet in 2026. Serene and Lumière, whose names were selected from


more than a thousand suggestions submitted by agents, passengers and employees, will sail in France on the

Ponant Explorations will operate three solar eclipse cruises next year in the Mediterranean and off the Icelandic and Irish coasts. The voyages will coincide with


the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, with specialists providing insights on the event including metereologists, science journalists, photographers and astronauts.
