Air Canada restarts flights to Nova Scotia
Air Canada has resumed a year-round non-stop service from Heathrow to Halifax, Nova Scotia. The route is the airline’s fifth transatlantic service from London, joining Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary. The airline will also restart seasonal services to Toronto from Edinburgh and Manchester on June 1.

Jet2 expands summer capacity to Crete’s Heraklion and Chania
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more flights and holidays to Crete this summer, with extra services to Heraklion and Chania. The airline has added more
than 7,500 seats to the Greek island, with more flights to Heraklion from Leeds Bradford and Birmingham. To Chania, additional flights
will operate from Manchester between July 14 and September 1 and from Stansted from July 18 to September 19. Seven nights’ half-board
at the four-star Enorme Maya Beach Hotel in Heraklion, Crete, starts from £839, flying from Birmingham on September 19.

EasyJet boosts holiday options to Greek islands and France

EasyJet has started selling flights from the UK to four Greek island destinations – Kos, Kefalonia, Corfu and Chania in Crete – and to Nantes in France. The budget carrier now claims to be the largest
carrier to the Greek islands from the UK. Package holidays are available for all the new routes,
including beach breaks from £279 and city breaks from £169, through easyJet holidays. Luton-Kefalonia flights will operate twice-weekly
from June 30, with one-way fares from £40.99. Also operating twice-weekly will be the Manchester-
Chania service, starting from June 28 with one-way fares from £25.99. Liverpool-Kos flights will operate weekly on
Sundays from July 3, priced from £39.99 one-way. Edinburgh airport will see Kefalonia and Corfu
Qantas brings forward resumption of London-Perth non-stop service
Non-stop Qantas flights from London to Perth are to return ahead of schedule this month. The daily service, which was diverted to Darwin because of Covid restrictions in Western Australia, will resume to Perth on May 23 instead of June 19 as previously planned following the relaxation of the state’s restrictions. More than 122,000 UK travellers visited Western Australia in 2019.

Loganair expands from Isle of Man
with daily service to Heathrow Regional carrier Loganair has begun flights between the Isle of Man and Heathrow, and boosted its service from the island to London City airport. The daily Heathrow service offers connections worldwide with Loganair partner airlines including British Airways. Both the London City and Heathrow routes are flown under Loganair’s codeshare agreement with BA.
