Club Med predicts 2021-22 will be its most
successful winter season on record due to pent-up demand for ski holidays. It expects French Alps properties Les Arcs Panorama and Alpe d’Huez to be among its bestsellers and February half-term and Christmas the most-popular periods. The all-inclusive operator believes winter sports
fans will be eager to return to the slopes following the early closure of the ski season last year and this season’s yet-to-be-confirmed resumption due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Estelle Giraudeau, Club Med’s managing director for the UK and northern Europe, said: “The winter 2021-22 season is set to be one like no other. With the last two winter seasons heavily disrupted, we are anticipating an unprecedented demand for winter sports trips as well as winter-sun escapes.”
