Hurtigruten unveils Arctic tour combining Svalbard and cruise
Hurtigruten has added a six-day Arctic tour for 2026-27. The Northern Delights: Svalbard and Arctic Norway tour includes two days on land in Svalbard, a flight to mainland Norway and a three-day sailing from Tromsø to Kirkenes. The package offers passengers “a prime” chance to see the northern lights. Prices start at £1,636.

SeaDream reveals details of new ship’s maiden sailing in 2029
SeaDream Yacht Club has opened bookings for its new yacht SeaDream III, which will join the fleet in 2029. The 200-passenger SeaDream III will embark on its maiden voyage from Hong Kong on July 10, 2029, sailing through the Ryukyu Islands and along Japan’s Pacific coast before arriving in Tokyo to be christened on July 21.

MSC Cruises opens bookings for winter 2027-28 programme
MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its winter 2027-28 programme, including new itineraries on MSC World Europa and MSC World Asia. The former ship will sail seven- night western Mediterranean itineraries to replace its Middle East deployment, while the latter will operate in the southern Caribbean.

Holland America Line releases 2028 Alaska schedule
Holland America Line has put on sale its 2028 Alaska season, which will feature the first ship to have undergone renovations as part of
its Evolution programme. Oosterdam will be one of six
ships deployed in the region and will offer new Solo Verandah staterooms, Bridgeview Suites and a Grand Dutch Cafe following its refurbishment.
All vessels will offer round-
trip sailings from Seattle and Vancouver, ranging from seven to 18 days, including a new voyage from San Diego to Vancouver. The 11-day California
to Alaska: Shores, Fjords & Glaciers voyage on Zaandam will depart on April 29, with highlights including Glacier Bay National Park, Juneau,
Ketchikan, Wrangell, Klawock and Prince Rupert. Fares start from £1,844. Another new itinerary is the
16-day Great Bear Rainforest & Alaska Explorer on Oosterdam from April 28, which features Hubbard Glacier, Prince Rupert, Kodiak, Anchorage and Valdez. The cruise costs from £2,504.
