Carnival UK bolsters P&O and Cunard trade teams

Carnival UK has announced major changes to its sales teams.

Cunard is recruiting an

18-strong sales force, while P&O Cruises has made two senior appointments. Carnival UK split Cunard and P&O’s sales teams in September to “solidify brand distinction” and forge stronger links with agents. Cunard’s vice-president of UK sales, David Rousham, said a recruitment drive is well under way, including for a team director. “I have been asked to build an

18-strong sales team,” he said. “In the past, we have had the same people looking after travel agents for P&O and Cunard. “We need to establish those

relationships directly with the right agents. We feel the way to do that is with our own dedicated team.” It follows news that Cunard will

add a fourth ship to its fleet in 2022 – its first new ship in 12 years.
