VIP partners taste the good life
Holland America Line and T ravel Weekly hosted a
special VIP event for trade partners at the Domaine Evremond vineyard in Kent last month. The day celebrated Holland America Line’s partnership
with Taittinger at its English vineyard and included a special five-course tasting menu as the line unveiled a revitalised tagline and new brand campaign.
Over the course of the afternoon, guests heard from UK & Ireland associate vice-president, sales and marketing, Karen Farndell, alongside senior executives including Rob
Coleman, senior vice-president, sales, and Nico Bleichrodt, vice-president, international sales and marketing.
They explained the tagline “Savour the Journey:
Experiences with us are too good to hurry through”, and said it “reinforces the brand’s dedication to the art of leisurely travel with exceptional voyages designed to connect travellers to the world and each other”.
Four key pillars of differentiation are: Onboard
Experiences: The Journey Is as Important as the Destination; Destinations: Connect to the World and Each Other; Destination Dining: Local Cuisine that Goes; Beyond the Plate; and Service Rooted in Care: A Tradition of Genuine Hospitality.
