Tradewind Voyages reveals Caribbean winter programme
Phil Davies
Tradewind Voyages has replaced its open-jaw global itinerary programme with a selection of Caribbean cruises running from November 2021 to April 2022. Te line scrapped the worldwide itineraries due to
the ongoing “complexities” of the pandemic in Australia. Tradewind’s new Caribbean programme, starting on
November 11, features 21 seven-night departures out of Barbados. Cruise-only prices start from £1,799. It has scheduled three voyages – Undiscovered
Caribbean; Caribbean’s Hidden Gems; and Icons of the Caribbean – with seven departures available for each. Te programme’s first departure is an Undiscovered Caribbean sailing on November 11. Ports of call include
Tobago, Grenada, the Grenadines and Saint Lucia. Golden Horizon will call into Dominica, Martinique
and Guadeloupe during Caribbean’s Hidden Gems departures, which start on November 18.
Antigua, Saint Lucia, St Kits and St Barts all feature
in the Icons of the Caribbean itinerary. Te itinerary’s sailings start on November 25. Sales have gone live in the UK through general sales
agent Discover the World. All passengers and crew must be fully-jabbed before
sailing on Golden Horizon this winter. Free pre-boarding antigen testing will also be available, the line said. As part of Tradewind’s Safe Sailing policy, health
screening, social distancing and medical services have been introduced on board to “ensure the wellbeing of passengers and crew”. Chief executive Alan McGrory said: “Once again,
we thank our agent partners and their clients for their support and hope that our Safe Sailing policy will instil further confidence in booking with us. We look forward to welcoming everyone on board.”
