1. VIENNESE WHIRL: Agents enjoy the sun on a three-day CroisiEurope fam trip on the Danube in Austria, on board Vivaldi. CroisiEurope’s John Fair hosted the group, which represented five agencies, on the trip from Vienna to Linz, with stops at Krems and Melk.


2. LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: Kirker Holidays’ Steve Wilkinson (left) welcomes John Hill of Carrick Travel to a Bright workshop at Ettington Chase hotel in Stratford- upon-Avon, Warwickshire. Kirker Holidays was one of nine hosts at the training body’s workshop and dinner last month, which was attended by 36 people from 24 agencies.


3. HAVING A RHINE TIME: Agents from RiverVoyages.com, Barrhead Travel, Skipton-based Blue Water Holidays and Bryton Travel in Edinburgh join Viking Cruises’ Jenny Wade (right) on a five-night fam trip. The group sailed on board Vidar from Basel to Cologne, a stretch that forms part of the line’s seven-night Rhine Getaway Cruise.


4. LEAVING OTHERS IN HIS WAKE: Azamara Club Cruises’ Harry Woodward sets a world record for the longest time wakeboarding without stopping of 10 hours, 18 minutes. The digital marketing executive beat the previous record by 13 minutes. The record attempt, which took place at Thorpe Lakes in Surrey last month, was in aid of the charity Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis.


5. DREAM TEAM: Donna Reed, of Baldwins Travel, learns about Super Break’s show of the month, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, from the operator’s business development manager Donna Smithson. Smithson visited the agency to update staff on Super Break’s latest theatre packages.
