Celebrity Cruises invites agents to bid in Rewards Auction
Celebrity Cruises has ramped up its trade incentive programme with the launch of a Celebrity Rewards Auctions scheme. Agents can bid for prizes
such as a stateroom on one of the line’s ships or gadgets in the monthly auction, which will be hosted on online trade platform Celebrity Central. Until September 21, agents
can earn the equivalent of £20 in points when making a booking for the line’s The Retreat suite category or any Galápagos sailing, £10 for a Balcony, Concierge or AquaClass stateroom, and £5 for an Inside or Oceanview stateroom as part of the line’s Earn On Every Booking programme. Agents can use the Celebrity
Rewards points they earn through bookings to bid for prizes either for themselves or their clients. The first virtual Celebrity
Auction took place last month on the Celebrity Central website. Prizes of up to £500 are
also available for agents who make bookings and the line is encouraging agents to speak with sales managers about any recent Celebrity bookings they have made.

for Asia in 2024-25 Emerald Cruises has released an Asia programme for 2024-25, with discounts of up to £1,900 available this month only and a free premium drinks package. Passengers who pay in full 12 months prior to departure qualify for an extra 10% saving. Itineraries, ranging from 12 to 23 days, are operated by 84-berth ship Emerald Harmony.

Royal Caribbean bolsters flights programme for 2023

Royal Caribbean International has unveiled its largest-ever air programme for 2023, together with a two-month mini-wave campaign featuring £1 flights, stateroom upgrades and discounted drinks packages. Royal currently operates two weekly charter flights
from either Glasgow or Belfast to Barcelona. However, next year it will expand the charter
programme to at least three flights a week, including two from Glasgow to either Barcelona or Ravenna, Italy, to support its European fly-cruise programme. Stuart Byron, director of sales for the UK, Ireland
and Spain, said the full 2023 weekly flight charter programme would be confirmed soon. As part of the line’s Plane and Simple campaign
that runs during the line’s mini-wave season until October 31, passengers travelling from Gatwick can secure flights from £1 when flying to Barcelona to join a Symphony of the Seas sailing and an Odyssey of the Seas

voyage departing from Civitavecchia next summer. The line is also offering £150 savings on airfares

any Anthem of the Seas sailing between May 12 and October 3, 2023, will be upgraded to a balcony cabin. All the voyages depart from Southampton. During the campaign, customer deposits have been
cut from £150 to £99 until the end of October and Deluxe Drinks packages are available from £43.

Hapag-Lloyd unveils programme of 26
sailings for expedition ship in 2023-24 Itineraries for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises expedition ship Hanseatic Inspiration for 2023-24 have been released. The German line’s 230-passenger vessel, which caters for international, English-speaking passengers, will combine the Great Lakes and the St Lawrence River between Milwaukee and Halifax for the first time. The programme features 26 sailings from November 2023.

the Middle East for Star Legend Windstar Cruises has added five itineraries featuring ports of call in the Middle East to its programme from November 2023. The 312-passenger Star Legend will operate the departures, ranging from eight to 18 days, which include stop-offs in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar. Prices start from £2,310.
