Jet2 puts ski flights for winter 2023-24 season on sale early


Leisure airline Jet2.com has put its winter 2023-24 ski programme on sale early from 10 UK airports. Ski flights will run to seven


destinations – Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Lyon and Turin – from December 16, 2023, to April 14, 2024. This represents 35 routes


and more than 60 flights a week during peak periods. An early-booking offer of

Trade-only operator Major Travel has added easyJet and Jet2 flights for the first time, opening up new routes and regional departure points. The services are all bookable through Major’s


mobile-friendly Major Go platform. The operator already works with low-cost airlines in


mid and long-haul destinations. The addition of low-cost short-haul carriers comes


as the cost-of-living crisis and inflation is seeing strong demand for short-haul packages. Managing director Qasim Gulamhusein said: “Our

BA to start flying to Las Vegas from Gatwick three times a week in 2023


British Airways will start flying from Gatwick to Las Vegas next spring. The direct service will run from March 26 to October 28, 2023, with flights operated by Boeing 777-200 aircraft on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and return fares starting at £426.
