Wendy Wu Tours has released its largest-ever brochure for southeast Asia, as it aims to capitalise on surging sales, driven
in part by the Race Across The World TV programme. The 2025-26 brochure
offers holidays in Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
travelweekly.co.uk 18 7 NOVEMBER 2024 The operator’s forward
bookings to the region for next year are 35% up on 2024. Gary King, Wendy Wu
Tours’ head of trade sales, said: “Southeast Asia is experiencing a significant travel boom, driven in part by the huge
popularity of the BBC series Race Across the World.”
Solo travellers can take
advantage of free and half- price single supplements across the collection. The operator has also
launched its Tailormade Southeast Asia Collection, which offers the flexibility to design bespoke itineraries.

Jersey and Guernsey brochure features holidays in the Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Shetland and Orkney Isles. New for this year is the Isle of Lewis in Scotland’s
Outer Hebrides and Bryher in the Isles of Scilly. Among the additional properties in Jersey are the
three-star, family-run hotel The Moorings and Liberty Wharf Apartments on St Helier’s Esplanade. In Guernsey, the family-run guesthouse St George’s,
and Ellingham Cotttages in St Martins are new, while the three-star The Dixcart Hotel and La Moinerie Village have been added in Sark.
Also new are the Hell Bay Hotel in the Isles of Scilly,
and the four-star The Royal Hotel in Ventnor and cottages at the Seaview Holidays village on the Isle of Wight. The experiences offered in the programme include
afternoon teas (from £21.50), entry to the Jersey War Tunnels (from £22), day trips to Herm (from £59), guided coach tours of Jersey and Guernsey (from £30), a TT Trike Taster Tour in the Isle of Man (from £115) and an Isle of Man Heritage Pass (from £39). Commercial director Mark Godfrey said the 80th
anniversary of Liberation Day on May 9, 2025, and a return of hit TV series Bergerac made it the “perfect time” to plan a visit to the Channel Islands. Agents who book a holiday from the new brochure
before November 30 can register for the chance to win one of 10 afternoon tea boxes.
