Inspire your clients to embrace spring with Canada’s blooms and local traditions

As spring sets in, there’s one thing that defines the Vancouver landscape: cherry blossom. From March to April, 40,000 cherry trees burst into vibrant pink and white bloom, adding a touch of springtime joy to parks and gardens across the city. The annual Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates with picnics, live music and bike tours.

Signalling the start of spring in Ottawa is the Canadian Tulip Festival. Lasting for 11 days every May, the festival shows off 300,000 tulips that are planted by Dow’s Lake. A sound and light show, local market and activities for kids in Tulip Town ensure there is plenty to see and do in Commissioners Park, which is blanketed in multicoloured flowers during the celebration.

In Quebec, the arrival of spring has its own unique taste. Maple sap flows best once the harsher winter months have passed and the days begin to warm up so, to celebrate, sugar shacks across the region serve all manner of maple syrup-inspired dishes.
