MSC to sail southern Caribbean year-round from November

MSC Cruises will offer year-round in the southern Caribbean for the first time from November. The 2,679-passenger MSC Opera is being deployed


in La Romana in the Dominican Republic “for the long- term” with a new itinerary and weekly departures. The ship, one of four in the line’s Lirica Class,


entered service in 2004 and was refurbished in 2022. Seven-night sailings or back-to-back 14-night


voyages are now on sale, with the first departure scheduled for November 16. A three-night Barbados and Southern Caribbean


cruise from La Romana to Bridgetown, calling at Catalina Island, on the inaugural sailing starts from £449 for a balcony cabin, not including flights. To tie in with the new home port, MSC has unveiled
