Marella Cruises unveils nine new excursions in the Mediterranean
Marella Cruises has added nine excursions in the Mediterranean. A highlighted excursion is a tuk-tuk tour of Olbia in Sardinia, which leads in at £68, and includes seeing sights from the city’s medieval past. Another featured excursion is a day tour of Pompeii, Ravello and Amalfi in a small-group mini-van which starts at £144. Prices are based on pre-booking for an adult fare.

Regent offers 7.5% deposit as 2028-29 itineraries go on sale
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has opened sales for 2028-29 voyages. UK agents can secure a 7.5%
low deposit for new bookings for the collection of 238 voyages made by July 8. Te programme includes 80 overnight stays and features maiden calls in Dundee, Oulu in Finland and Sibenik in Croatia. Te newest ship in the fleet,
Seven Seas Prestige, will make its debut in Canada and New England in autumn 2028 with a series of 11-night itineraries. Seven Seas Splendor will sail in
Alaska for the first time, with 16 new voyages and up to 50 included excursions on each sailing. In two more firsts for the line,
Seven Seas Voyager will operate in the Mediterranean in winter, while Seven Seas Explorer will sail in Africa and Arabia in spring 2029.

Royal Caribbean to screen Fifa World Cup
Royal Caribbean will broadcast every match of the Fifa World Cup 2026 live across its fleet this summer. Matches will be shown on Sport 24 Special Event Channels, spanning pool decks, theatres and sports bars. The line is also a Miami host city supporter, which gives passengers access to a series of events.

Explora Journeys features first season for Explora VI in 2028

Explora Journeys has opened sales for its summer 2028 Journeys Collection, which includes the first sailings for Explora VI. Te luxury cruise line said the debut of Explora VI
in August 2028 would “bring the fleet to its full six-ship scale, realising the brand’s original vision on time and exactly as planned at its inception”. Te summer 2028 range spans 178 destinations
across 27 countries, from the Mediterranean to northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland and North America. Explora I will be in the Mediterranean from April
to October, visiting the Aegean, Adriatic and Turkish coast. Meanwhile, Explora II will sail in the western Med, North Africa and the French and Italian rivieras.

May to September and Explora IV will be in Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea from May to October. From May to September, Explora V will be in the
Baltic Sea, the Norwegian fords and North Atlantic before reaching Iceland and Greenland, then sail onto the North American eastern seaboard for the autumn. Te sixth vessel in the fleet, Explora VI, will sail
from Rome to Barcelona on its maiden cruise, then offer itineraries through Sicily, Sardinia and the French Riviera. In October and November, the ship will be in the Adriatic to visit ports in Croatia and Montenegro. A seven-night sailing from Piraeus (for Athens) to
Fusina (for Venice) on Explora V on April 1 leads in from £3,390 for an Ocean Terrace Suite.
