Cunard has released its 2025 Alaska sailings. Queen Elizabeth will operate 11 cruises from Seattle between June 12 and September 25. The itineraries will range from


seven to 11 nights in duration, and will feature 24 late departures from Alaskan ports. Mountaineer Kenton Cool,


polar skier Preet Chandi and wildlife film-maker Doug Allen are among the expert speakers lined up for the sailings. An 11-night departure on


July 11, 2025, calls at Icy Strait Point, Haines, Juneau, Wrangell, Misty Fjord and Ketchikan. Prices start at £1,449. A 10-night sailing departing

Silversea’s enhanced commission to kick in on eight-person bookings


Silversea is offering a minimum of 15% commission as part of a revamped scheme to encourage group bookings. The enhanced commission was previously limited to group bookings of nine full-fare customers, with a 10th sailing free of charge. Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours will operate its largest-ever programme of ocean cruises this year. The luxury line is offering cruises to all seven


continents, with an expanded programme to Antarctica and a new range of off-the-beaten-track itineraries. Scenic Eclipse will offer 46 itineraries in 2024,


including its largest-ever Antarctica season, following the addition of a second luxury discovery yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, in spring this year. The discovery yachts will travel further than in the


past after adding Australia, Indonesia, West Papua, the Solomon Islands, eastern Antarctica and New Zealand to their portfolio of destinations. New cruises for 2024 include itineraries exploring


Australia’s Kimberley coastline and eastern Antarctica. The 21-day Natural Wonders of Australia & the


Kimberley Coastline leads in at £15,910, with the 25-day Mawson’s Antarctica: Along the East Coast from £23,700.


Other new off-the-beaten track itineraries include the 13-day Secrets of Indonesia: Spice Islands & Raja Ampat and the 18-day Arctic Circle & Northern Europe Discovery. The operator has also expanded the range of
