Mason & Fifth Boutique guesthouse group Mason & Fifth, which opened its first co-living site in London’s Bermondsey in 2020, is set to open its second property in Primrose Hill. The new site is spread across four 1860s,


Grade II-listed Regency townhouses, which have been refurbished by architects Red Deer. The guesthouse promises to offer a home-from-home experience with 61 studio apartments, a garden with a yoga pavilion, lounge and living spaces, and a communal breakfast kitchen serving granola, fruit juices and yogurt. Five types of studio apartments


are available, ranging from ‘classic’ to ‘mezzanine’. Rooms come with a kitchen, appliances, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils, as well as a waterfall shower and smart TV.

Creative Restaurant Group has launched Japanese grill and sushi bar Niju. Culinary director Endo Kazutoshi is joined by head chef Chris Golding and head sushi chef David Bury to offer Japanese home-style cooking.

Shanghai Noir


Indo-Chinese brasserie Shanghai Noir is set to open on the lower ground floor of the Grade II-listed Old Westminster Fire Station. Executive chef Amit Bagyal will offer a selection of sharp and spicy flavours.

Crispin at Studio Voltaire


Dominic Hamdy, founder of Crispin Group, is set to launch Crispin at Studio Voltaire in London’s Clapham. The food menu at the 50-cover restaurant will be overseen by Michael Miles of Counter71 and Manteca.
