Africa specialist andBeyond has reopened its Zanzibar property following a comprehensive renovation. The brand said andBeyond Mnemba Island had been “fully reimagined”. While the layout of the lodge
remains largely unchanged, bandas (thatched houses) and the main guest area have been rebuilt. Enlarged bandas now feature a redesigned private beach lounge; two entrances (one directly from the beach and one from the island’s forest); and ƃQQT VQ EGKNKPI NQWXTGF DNKPFU RTQXKFKPI the option for bedrooms to be closed off or open to the sea breeze. One banda has also been converted into a two-bedroom family unit. The lodge’s main guest area has
been brought forward to maximise the sea views. The bar features both indoor

and outdoor areas, while new design elements allow for open-air dining spaces to be enclosed in inclement weather. New additions also include a Beach Shop, a Wellness Banda and a Discovery Centre showcasing local conservation and community initiatives.
Heritage Le Telfair adds adult-only wing
Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort in Mauritius has unveiled a new adult-only wing designed for “ultimate escape and relaxation”. The new area, which opened on November 1, features a collection of suites arranged in a ‘U’ shape around a heated pool (pictured) with ocean views. Guests can choose from 19 Deluxe Seaview Suites, eight Deluxe Beachfront Suites, eight Junior Suites Beachfront and four Senior Suites Seaview.
