LUXSTAINABILITY® “S
ustainable developments start with design and the choice of materials – at this point it is decided how recyclable a product will be at the end of its life cycle,” says Franz Kaldewei, CEO of Kaldewei. For more than 100 years, Kaldewei has been making high-quality bathroom objects from sophisticated steel enamel. As steel enamel is 100% circular it makes it one of the most recyclable materials in the bathroom. The fusion of glass and steel creates a stunning high gloss enamel finish that is both durable and hygienic. As part of their commitment to the environment Kaldewei has started to manufacture their products using Bluemint® their carbon output by 70%.
