The Zero line portfolio demonstrates Mapei’s commitment to the planet, to people and to biodiversity. Fast and simple to prepare and apply, Mapelastic Zero provides perfect adhesion to substrates. The versatile mortar is highly fl exible at low temperatures to -20ºc, resistant to UV rays and has a very low VOC formulation. As well as application before tiling, it can be used to waterproof and protect a range of substrates including cementitious screeds and renders, concrete, concrete blocks, plasterboard and cement board. It also provides protection from CO2
penetration to concrete surfaces for more than 50 years.

emissions. Newton’s specialist basement contractor Cast
Contracting Ltd (CCL) were appointed to design, supply and install the waterproofi ng, and used Newton’s CDM waterproofi ng system, a safe and reliable form of ‘Type C’ waterproofi ng that comprises of cavity drain membranes, drainage, pumps and control systems.
