This seminar looks at stair nosings, fl ooring accessories such as skirtings, covings and capping strips, and fl oor fi nishes and transitions including entrance matting. It explores how each of these can be specifi ed to ensure adherence to all relevant aspects of Building Regulations, BS 8300- 2:2018 and the Equality Act. There are three main aims for this CPD: • Explain how to safely fi nish fl oorcoverings at critical points such as stairways, wall junctions, and doorway transitions. • Show how to specify fl ooring accessories correctly and successfully. • Guidance on the legislative and regulatory framework. Aspects which can affect the effi cacy of fl ooring details will be explored. These are things such as the importance of colour options, fi tting and maintenance issues which should be considered at specifi cation, and environmental and legal concerns. A Q&A session is available after the seminar. You can book Quantum’s CPD on Detailing Flooring Finishes by emailing info@quantumfl
