capitalising on increased sales of Powerless, which gained momentum in December 2023. Boosted by the release of Reckless, the previous two books in the world rose through the ranks, claiming 27th and 31st place in the top 50. The trio filled the top three posi-


tions in the Children’s and Young Adult (YA) chart and Roberts claimed her second Children’s number one. Altogether, their trilogy’s combined sales for the week were only 2,500 copies shy of reaching 50,000. Fellow YA author and BookTok star Holly Jackson rivalled Roberts in the Children’s and YA chart, claiming an impressive four spots in the top 20. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder re-entered the top 50 at 36th


place with more than 4,000 copies sold. It was joined in the Children’s chart by two of its sequels and a new edition of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. book charts, but Irish author Evie Woods began her writing career through self-publishing, and it has taken some time (at least three novels’ worth) for her to find a home in bricks-and-mortar stores. Her digital audience has possibly grown since


One More Chapter acquired rights to her previously self-published work. The Lost Bookshop has ranked within Bookstat’s weekly top 20 a total of 32 times since July 2023 and is currently on a five-week hot streak. Last week, it claimed second place according to Bookstat and took pole position in the Publisher E-Book ranking. Several new releases entered the Bookstat top 20,
