avid Walliams is once again in a different class, as The World’s Worst


Teachers claims a second Official UK Top 50 number one, selling 77,247 copies in its first full week on the shelves—55,338 units more than any other book. The Tony Ross-illustrated title, which has now sold more than 160,000 copies in a week and half on sale, is already among the 12 bestsell- ing books of the year to date—and is the third bestselling Children’s book of 2019. Walliams’ World’s Worst... series titles were previously released ahead of, or during, the late May half-term holiday, but the run-up to the summer break seems to have worked wonders for The World’s Worst
