avid Walliams and Tony Ross’ Megamonster stalks the Official UK Top 50 number one spot once again, selling 49,560 copies to claim a second week at the top. This was a far shallower slide from its launch week than Walliams’ titles tend to record. Perhaps Megamonster, which


posted the lowest launch-week sale for the author since 2015, is set for a long, consistently strong sales trajectory, rather than a huge first-week spike. It has already effortlessly surpassed 100,000 copies sold and has betered Adam Silvera’s breakout YA hit They Both Die at the End as the Children’s number one for the year to date (not including sales figures from the first 10 weeks
