The nutritionist claimed the Paperback Non-fiction top spot for a fiſth straight week, and he now has 33 number ones in that chart, level with early-Noughties diet guru Robert Atkins (remem- ber when all the celebs were doing the Atkins? Good times). At an impressive 70 weeks, Joe Wicks is the only other diet and fitness author with more Paperback
Non-fiction number ones. But it certainly was a good week at chez Mosley, worthy of a toast (providing it is not a fasting day) as his wife Dr Clare Bailey and Justine Patinson’s The Fast 800 Easy returned to the Top 50, hiting 38th place. The Mosley (£6.8m) and Bailey (£6.7m) household has earned a combined £13.5m through Nielsen BookScan’s Total Consumer Market since they were first published in 2015. No shade on
Octopus, of course, as outside of
superstar cookery chefs it is extremely rare for an illustrated list to claim the overall top spot. By “extremely rare” I mean prety much never: DK has done it, but with a low-priced children’s book Continues overleaf
