aforementioned eight-week period, the Hardback Non-Fiction number one has averaged 16,800 units sold this autumn against 21,400 copies in 2022. But the market may have kicked into gear, helped in this chart by a heavy release schedule that saw 17 new titles in the Top 50 and a strong children’s return boosted by Halloween and the October half-term school breaks.
