tills in the eight weeks from the seven-day period ending 2nd September, a 2.1% drop on 2022. Not disastrous, but that value figure is burnished by a spiking average selling price. produced a double: a Bookstat number one here and the Original Fiction pole position (see next page). This is the Child brothers’ third consecutive Bookstat autumn number one which has coincided with the latest Reacher hardback. The nearly 20,000 units Bookstat says The
Secret earned is, however, some distance off the 31,000 launch week e-units for last year’s No Plan B and the nearly identical total for 2021’s Better Off Dead.
