Midwest Aerospace LTD Celebrates Grand Opening of Midwest Blade Tech
Midwest Aerospace LTD recently announced the official opening of Midwest Blade Tech, its new state-of-the-art facility dedicated to main and tail rotor blade repair and servicing. Located at the company’s headquarters in Lowell, Indiana, the facility expands Midwest’s capabilities to meet growing demand for high-quality rotor blade maintenance and advanced repair solutions.
Midwest Blade Tech serves as the exclusive distributor of Rotorcraft Repair and Manufacturing’s proprietary Dragon Skin Extreme (DSX) coating. With over 5,000 operating hours in harsh environments— including agricultural, firefighting, medical, humanitarian, and military operations— DSX delivers exceptional durability and extends the lifespan and performance of rotor blades.
The new facility combines advanced technology, specialized equipment, and a team of highly experienced technicians to provide repairs that meet and exceed industry performance and safety standards. By integrating DSX into its service offerings, Midwest Blade Tech strengthens Midwest Aerospace’s ability to deliver innovative, long-lasting solutions to rotorcraft operators worldwide.
