The Bell 505 Heli-Utility-Basket™ is the latest in Dart’s proven line of baskets. It joins Dart’s existing Heli-Utility-Baskets™ for helicopter models such as the H125, Bell 407, R66, and AW119, as well as other models for helicopters manufactured by Airbus, Bell, Leonardo, and Robinson.
The Bell 505 Heli-Utility-Basket™ features quick and easy installation, allowing operators to externally carry skis, cargo hooks, tools and equipment, and a variety of other items safely. Developed for the utility and VIP market, The Dart Heli-Utility-Basket™ is constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, coated with a high-gloss, scratch-resistant white finish. Safety is enhanced with a simple self-locking handle that assures lid closure and secures cargo during flight. A gas spring is utilized to ease lid opening and closing.
Dart is collaborating with local service center G2 Aviation in the testing process for this new product. The basket will be certified under TCCA and FAA STC. As with most Dart products, Dart will support other agency validations based on customer needs.
“Dart is excited to further support the popular Bell 505 by launching a Heli-Utility-Basket™ that allows operators to expand their mission profile.”

Embention is once again changing the rules of the game by launching the new Veronte Autopilot DRx with distributed redundancy, the only “ready to fly” autopilot for eVTOL on the market. Specifically designed to comply with eVTOL certification requirements, it has been developed in compliance with aviation standards DO178C, DO254 and DO160.
In addition, the new Distributed Redundant Autopilot is “Safety Independent” as it has a dual management board, in accordance with JARUS methodology. Thus, no single point of failure will lead to degradation of operation. The Veronte DRx can be configured to include fully customized control modes, such as a fully autonomous control mode or fly-by- wire (arcade) mode. This redundant fly-by-wire solution is robust to single point of failure and compatible with redundant sticks, cockpit buttons and actuators, so redundancy can be extended to all critical aircraft systems.
