FROM THE DESK OF THE EDITOR
Rotorcraft Pro Rebrands as Rotor Pro
Beginning with this issue, our vertical-lift industry media company Rotorcraft Pro is rebranding itself as Rotor Pro to broaden its horizons in an evolving industry.
The word “Rotorcraft” has served us well for more than a decade, but the industry is rapidly changing and it’s too narrow a focus when considering aircraft advances such as powered- lift, eVTOL, unmanned, and urban air mobility.
Traditionally, Rotorcraft Pro’s primary focus was on global helicopter operations both civil and military, with a secondary focus on the companies that support those helicopter operators with products and services. As new vertical-lift platforms
Lyn Burks, Editor-In-Chief
emerge, the same helicopter operators will likely be investing in and operating these aircraft.
Visually, the brand change will not be very significant, but functionally, it will keep us relevant to our valued readers while fostering new marketing opportunities for our advertisers as segments of our industry adopt these new platforms.
The team members here at Rotor Pro are grateful for the support of our readers and advertisers over the years, and we look forward to continuing our stated goal: to educate, inform, and entertain the hardworking members and businesses within the vertical-lift industry. Onward and upward!
