HeliSpeed Extends SAR Support Agreement with British International Helicopters
An extended five-year agreement cements a long-term partnership between global aviation business HeliSpeed and British International Helicopters (BIH). HeliSpeed will continue to provide helicopter pilots, engineers and technical crew from its growing network of over 2,500 aviation professionals.
BIH is the largest British-owned helicopter firm and a trusted long-term partner to military clients, with a track record of delivering consistently safe and reliable services in challenging environments.
“We’re delighted to continue our relationship with BIH as their exclusive aviation supplier. It’s been a challenging 14 months for the aviation industry, but we’ve not let it hold us back. We’re growing our global partnerships and utilizing our network of over 2,500 skilled aviation professionals to support more operations worldwide,” stated Helispeed Operations Director Gemma Walker.
HeliSpeed matches the skills of experienced pilots and engineers with the needs and preferences of operators. They are experts in the diverse skillsets required for offshore, construction, ferry flights, SAR, EMS, disaster relief and VIP missions. HeliSpeed supplies aviation professionals for both short-term and long- term global missions on over 83 types of helicopters, supporting ferry flights, aircraft repositioning, ground and flight tests, and training across every platform.

Bristow Group Announces Contract Extensions with Equinor, Shell, and Neptune in Norway
Bristow Group Inc. recently announced four separate two-year contract extensions through April 2024 with Equinor, Shell and Neptune to support its air transportation crew change services for their operations in the Norwegian continental shelf.
Bristow has been an Equinor aviation partner for more than 20 years and will continue to use its fleet of S-92s to provide crew change flights out of Bristow’s bases in Bergen and Florø, Norway. The strong partnership with Neptune and Shell has been ongoing since May 2017.
Bristow’s current contracts with the three companies expire on April 30, 2022. All contract extensions include two one-year options to further extend the contracts from 2024.

We both share a strong commitment to efficiency and to the highest safety standards in providing critical transportation services in supporting exploration and production activities,” said Heidi Wulff Heimark, Bristow managing director/accountable manager in Norway. “We are especially honored by their trust and confidence in us with these contract extensions that will bring long-term stability and maintain service efficiencies.”
Equinor, Shell, and Neptune Energy collaborate on flights from the Florø base, and Shell and Neptune have decided to also extend their contracts with Bristow in line with Equinor’s contract award.
