ARTEMIS interacts with cell phones and geolocates them quickly and precisely using the cellular protocol. EuroNav 7 displays the ARTEMIS information and merges it with other avionic and sensor information (TCAS, FMS, AIS, Direction Finder, etc.), as well as data from the internal database (Points
of Interest, Street Info, Terrain Info, Maps & Charts, Border Lines, and user data) to create a complete operational picture. The EuroNav 7 also allows the automatic steering of EO/IRs and Radars onto the cell phone’s location and sends the resul- ting coordinates directly to the FMS. The location of thousands of handsets can be established very quickly and displayed on the EuroNav 7. EuroNav takes the lead by integrating a full range of operational features that perfectly complement the ARTEMIS system. This exceptional combination is available now.
