Burgess Hill ground-breaking ceremony for Boutique

Boutique Care Homes has celebrated the beginning of construction of its new care home, Keymer Hall, in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Joining Boutique were the Mayor of Burgess Hill, Cllr Janice Henwood, and Nick Kidsley from building contractor Lawrence Baker. Scheduled to open in late 2025, the 68- bed Keymer Hall will offer a bistro, landscaped gardens, and a hair and beauty salon. Cllr Henwood said: “It was interesting to visit the site and meet the workers engaged in building a Boutique Care Home, to be located off Kingsway. The company is enthusiastic about becoming a part of the Burgess Hill Community; it is especially encouraging that

the residential home will be using renewable energy via photovoltaic panels and will retain the mature trees around the site.” Carl Roberts of Boutique Care Homes commented: “We are truly honoured and thankful for Mayor Henwood’s visit, and her support means a great deal to us as we continue to strive for excellence in care. At Boutique Care Homes, we believe that care is more than just a service; it is a profound feeling of comfort, security, and genuine connection. We are excited about the opportunity to support and work with Burgess Hill Town Council to champion social care and carers in the community.”

Lamont Johnson sells unique Cotswold care home

Lamont Johnson has announced the sale of Hampton House in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Registered for 37 residents, Hampton House has been refurbished since the business was acquired in 1999. Existing planning exists for a further six bedrooms. Having been owned for over 24 years by Tony and Roz Elliott, the home has been acquired by Staffordshire-based Juliet Briggs of Capulet Holdings Limited. Grayson Taylor of Lamont Johnson said: “Of the 850+ Care Homes that I have sold in my business lifetime going back to 1981, this is on a personal level, one of my all time, five favourite homes. We were delighted to have been entrusted by Tony and Roz to find a buyer for such a special home and we wish Juliet Briggs and her team all the very best of good fortune in the future.”
