ACCURATE & RELIABLE THIRD PARTY LP(a) REAGENTS

Lipoprotein (a) or Lp(a) screening is recommended at least once in all adults to identify those at high risk of heart disease or stroke. Screening is also advised in youths with a family history of

stroke, high Lp(a) or premature ASCVD. To allow accurate and reliable screening, assays suffering minimal apo(a) size related bias are recommended.

Traceable to WHO/IFCC reference material (IFCC SRM 2B)

Available for use on most clinical chemistry analysers

Liquid ready-to-use reagents for added convenience

Five-point calibrator with accuracy-based

assigned target values (in nmol/l) is available, accurately reflecting the heterogeneity of the apo(a) isoforms.

The Randox Lp(a) assay demonstrates excellent performance, evidenced by a correlation coefficient of r=0.995 when compared with other commercially available methods and a within-run precision of less than 2.54%.

FDA 510(k) cleared for mg/dL units only, measuring Lp(a) in nmol/L is not FDA approved for the USA market.
