It is the size of a wristwatch and worn at the


knee. The battery powered, disposable geko device gently stimulates the common peroneal nerve activating the calf and foot muscle pumps, resulting in increased blood flow in the deep veins of the calf: l to increase blood circulation l for the prevention of venous thrombosis l for the prevention and treatment of oedema


Today, the novel geko device can be found in hospitals throughout the country and overseas.
