The excitement is building ahead of the IFHE 2022 International Congress, taking place from 17-21 September at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel on the shore of Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto. CHES said: “The Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES) and the IFHE Executive Committee invite all to join us in Toronto at the 27th Congress of the IFHE to share knowledge, learn, and network, with colleagues from around the world.” The congress theme is ‘Unleashing

Innovation: Healthcare Engineering Excellence’. The Opening Reception will be held at the world-famous Hockey Hall of Fame – which is dedicated to the history of ice hockey, and houses exhibits about players, teams, National Hockey League records, memorabilia, and NHL trophies, including the Stanley Cup. The Congress organisers say: “We

have two high-profile keynote speakers included in the programme. On Day One, Hayley Wickenheiser, a four-time Olympic Gold Medallist, who is now a physician, will speak, while Day Two will see a conference keynote from David Williams, a former NASA astronaut, also now a physician.
