range of hardnesses intended for automotive interiors with a PIR content of up to 38%. The PIR comes from other companies’ manufacturing processes for plastic products. Possible applications include anti-slip mats, floor mats, soft components in cup holders, as well as fixation elements. The series is also suitable for other applications requir- ing a hardness range between 60 and 90 Shore A. “Strict OEM requirements for emission and

Mass balance accounting makes it possible to mix fossil with recycled and/or bio-based raw materials whilst keeping track of the respective quantities. ISCC Plus is a global certifica- tion scheme providing traceability along the supply chain and guaranteeing correct and transparent use of the mass balance approach. Selected versions of the Dryflex TPE portfolio will be available, as well as grades from the Mediprene TPE range of TPEs for medical applica- tions. These new TPEs will offer a drop-in alterna- tive for customers looking to meet the needs of challenging applications in the consumer, care, automotive and medical device markets. Kraiburg TPE says its latest development makes it possible to incorporate 40% PCR into TPEs. Universal PCR TPE was developed for consumer and industry applications. The company says Universal PCR TPE has strong points in colour and mechanics. Compounds are available in natural colour as a basis for customer- specific colour solutions as well as in a grey colour characteristic for recycled plastics. Processability “is in no way inferior to that of standard solutions and sets new standards for PCR compounds.” Universal

odour are fulfilled and the material can be either combined with polypropylene in co-injection moulding applications or used as single soft component solution,” says Kraiburg TPE. “In addition, Interior PIR TPE provides good abrasion resistance and excellent flowability combined with low density to keep the part weight at a minimum.” The product is available for customers in the

EMEA sales region. Kraiburg TPE is currently working on local solutions for the APAC markets and North America. Teknor Apex has just introduced the Monprene

RX CP-15100 series, containing 25 to 35% PCR content. These TPEs are available globally and manufactured around the world (at plants in the USA, Germany, and Singapore) with locally sourced raw materials. The PCR content is sourced from waste diverted from households, or commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. They are delivered in a consistent light, natural colour, similar to virgin compounds. The Monprene RX CP-15100 series is available in

standard grades from 55 to 80 Shore A and can also be tailored for a customer’s specific requirements. They can be over-moulded onto polypropylene. The supplier says grades “perform and process like prime TPE and are ideal for personal care products not requiring food contact approvals, lawn & garden tools, writing instruments, appliances,
