CHINAPLAS | EXHIBITION PREVIEW

supported by linear guides to ensure precise and stable injection. This also reduces risk of tie bar wear and contamination, making it well suited for medical production. Mould adjustment uses a closed-loop servo valve for faster and precise operation. www.fcs.com.tw/en

Fomtec is showing the FT-1600F-R2-V rotary table vertical machine. It adopts a traditional three-plate design, which keeps the clamp structure stable and reliable. It also uses a new cylinder design that provides clamping force and also acts as an auxiliary oil tank. The company says the low worktable, placed at a height of 1.05m, makes it easy to integrate automation. www.fomtec.cn

Haitian International is showing a number of machines at Chinaplas 2021, including the Zhafir ZEIII electric machine range. It says the machines offer all the expected advantages of electric machine technology, including precision, low noise, energy-efficiency, and easy maintenance. Other advantages of the Zhafir ZEIII design include compact and flexible injection units and a powerful fast-response dual-CPU. Optional equipment includes a servo-electric rotary table offering high precision and dynamics. Widely used in the electronic, food packaging and automotive sectors, Zhafir machines are also targeted at the medical industry. Zhafir VE all-elec- tric machines are well suited to medical applica- tions as they eliminiate the contamination risk from hydraulic oil. Stainless steel can also be used in the construction to meet strict medical manufacturing standards, while the machines provide full produc- tion data traceability. Haitian can provide a turnkey solution for clean rooms http://haitianinter.com/en

Powerjet Plastic Machinery is exhibiting its KPET-E6 high speed preform machine at Chinaplas 2021. It claims that, compared to traditional injection moulding machines, the KPET-E6 shows a 30-40% energy saving. Equipped with a dedicated screw for PET, the machine is capable of fast injection speeds at lower plasticising temperatures, which reduces preform shrinkage and increases product transparency. The KPET-E6 machine is said to be well suited to moulding PET water bottle preforms weighing 10-20g in 48 or 64 cavity moulds and PET oil bottle preforms weighing 100-300g with 8, 12 or 24 cavity moulds.

Powerjet’s DP600-S6 is a two-

platen high-speed injection moulding machine. It features low-friction linear guide rails on the clamp and uses a special high L/D ratio screw that is said to improve plasticising. A high-speed proportional valve is used on the clamp for fast mould opening and closing while an optimised hydraulic oil circuit provides precise control of back pressure and injection. An optional servo electric injection unit is available to further reduce energy consumption. https://powerjetmachine.cn

Tederic says its DT-i servo energy-saving injection moulding machine covers clamp ranges from 1,000 to 40,000kN. It features a high rigidity double elbow five hinge clamping mechanism equipped with balanced dual-cylinder clamp drive system. The DE-E series is Tederic’s high perfor- mance all electric injection moulding machine offering. It uses components from internationally- known brands to provide superior performance and stable quality, according to the company. The machine is said to provide fast and highly precise injection performance. www.tedericglobal.com

Yizumi is showing its UN500DP two-platen injection moulding machine equipped with a PUR system and InPUR 1+2 mould technology and automation system. The machine is configured for Yizumi’s one-step ReactPro polyurethane in-mould coating process, which is designed to produce selectively-positioned high-gloss surfaces for automotive applications. The company is also showing its SpaceA additive manufacturing system, which uses a granule-fed extruder and robotic manipulator. It provides a means to combine large-scale injection moulding of parts with one-off customisation. www.yizumi.com
