construction. The company will also show its recently devel- oped line of highly endothermic propellant master- batches, which can be used with low dosages (from 0.1%) in injection moulding and extrusion. Luvo- batch PE BA 5821 is optimised for use where excellent surface quality is important; Luvobatch PE BA 5823 has offers a fine cell structure for film applications. The new masterbatches are free from azodicarbonamide (ADC) so can be used in food or drinking water contact applica- tions.

Leistritz Visitors to the Leistritz stand will be able to take a virtual tour of a PET recycling line the company has recently commissioned for a Russian customer that cleans, shreds and converts post-consumer PET bottles into food-grade films. The line uses a ZSE 87 MAXX main extruder
with a throughput of about 1,200 kg/h and a ZSE 60 MAXX extruder with a throughput of 300 kg/h as a co-extruder. According to Leistritz, the extruders ensure the polymer is well mixed with minimal stress while the high degassing capacity and surface renewal allows for efficient odour reduction and dehumidification. Both extruders are equipped with the company’s in-line elongational rheometers to ensure melt quality is monitored in real-time. The recycling installation, which includes up-
stream washing, sorting and fine sifting equipment, uses the P:React liquid solid state polycondensation

Maag Group Maag Group will show the latest developments from across its pelletising, melt filtering and pumping businesses. The pelletising display will include the company’s Primo line of strand and Pearlo line of underwater pelletisers, which can be configured to cover any pelletising tasks ranging from lab and pilot production through to polymer production in both micro and regular pellet formats. The company will also show the latest addition to the
Ettlinger Eco line of high perfor- mance melt filters for PET recy- cling — the Eco 200 — as well as its re-engineered Extrex X6
range of
high performance gear pumps.

The main focus of the Milliken display at Fakuma will be its newly introduced Millad NX 8000 Eco clarifier, used to produce the NX Ultraclear PP. The new clarifier is said to offer faster production rates and process energy savings of around 10%. The company says it provides a “tunable” clarity — which allows it to meet market needs while minimising risk of defects such as white specs, streaks and voids — and reduces specific migration limits. The company will also show its Keyplast and
Keyplast Resist colorants — the latter developed for use with high temperature resins such as PA, PSU and PEEK — and Hyperform HPN 909ei, HPN 715 and HPN 500ei nucleators PP nucleators. Its Deltamax line of performance modifiers for recycled PP will also feature at the show.

Mocom Mocom, the former compounding division of Albis that was set up as a standalone business in 2020, exhibits for the first time in Friedrichshafen with a display that includes new introductions for the lighting market as well as additional grades containing recycled content. Its latest innovations in the lighting sector
include Alcom LDDC, a deep black transparent material suitable for “black panel” display applica- tions, and the Alcom LIR high IR transmission grade, which is opaque to visible light and intended for gesture control sensors and IR camera covers. The company will also show its Altech PP ECO
