Established 25 years ago, APPL is one of the largest compounders in India. Equipped with twin screw compounding and dosing equipment from Brabender, Koch, KraussMaffei Berstorff, Theysohn and CTE, it focuses on quality engineered compounds for demanding applications. The company is currently building a new compounding unit at Dahej in Gujarat. Expected to commence production at the end of this year, the new plant will add a further 10,000 tonnes of annual capacity. APPL also offers D-LFT technology and operates its own integrated IMC (Injection Moulding Compounder) system


Product lines


APPL specialises in production of engineered compounds based on polyolefin and engineering thermoplastics, as well as colour and additive masterbatches. Compounds include mineral and wood flour filled, glass fibre and glass bead reinforced, and flame retarded grades. While a large proportion of the company’s product goes to the automotive and electrical appliance industries, APPL also supplies the market for household products, as well as producers of woven sacks, irrigation systems and polymer sheet.


Product strengths


APPL offers a wide variety of customised application-specific compounds supported by comprehensive laboratory and QC capabilities. Its network of manufacturing sites across India means it is able to offer very fast leadtimes.
